Battleship? Really?

WTF? So I didn't know what to write about, and the first thing I saw surfing this internet here was an ad for this new movie Battleship. What the hell is up with this movie? Who thought this was a good idea? Did someone at Milton Bradley see a few too many Transformers movies. I saw the first ad for Battleship months ago. Since then I have rapidly been trying to avoid any news or opinions about the movie. I was just dumb founded when I learned that this movie existed. There is even a video game movie tie in coming out next week up against Diablo 3 and Max Payne. Now that the movie is on our door step and getting lots of marketing hype I again cannot avoid this movie.  Get popcorn at the movie, Battleship. Get a drink at Subway, Battleship. Close my eyes to go to sleep, Battleship! Enough is enough. I know a lot of people want to see this movie just to laugh and see how bad it is, but I plead you, avoid Battleship. I cannot deal with a future that is all giant robots attacking earth. I need to go watch some amazing drama to wash this feeling out of my mouth.
Firefly
Lets spend Hollywood's dollars making more firefly and not Battleship.

Season 2... I guess

I'm so bad at keeping a blog. Its just my personality. But here is my second chance. I'm going to keep trying. I got to a point where I had not created anything but had ideas and then as time went on those ideas seemed like they needed to be bigger and bigger because I had been gone for so long. I realized that I just need to write. Sit down and write. So now it comes down to writing my first piece. let's call this season 2. So what I wanted to write about was who I am. "season 1" was mostly posted on Facebook and only to people that knew me. I'm still trying to find a place on the Internet but for now blogger is going to be home. Day 9 - Saddest Game Moment

So this blog has ended up being pretty personal for me. Bearing my feelings on the page for you all! But what some of you might not know is that I'm a pretty big wuss. Sad movies make me cry. So the topic of saddest game moment might bring a few tears to my eye. Being a big RPG/ story focused gamer I have seen my share of sad moments. Also I'll say now, this might have some spoilers, very very old spoilers. The moment I want touch on first might have had to be at the top of my list. Many would call it a classic. But since it was ruined for me before I started playing the game it wasn't a very sad moment when I finally arrived at it. It was actually a quite frustrating part of the game for me. Aerith's death in Final Fantasy is the moment I am referring to. When I started playing the game I was instructed to not worry about leveling her up since she dies later in the game.
